The "Anthem Awards" is a spin-off of the "Inaugural Anthem Award," a category of the "Webby Awards" (sponsored by IADAS). The Webby Awards, aka the "Oscars of the Internet," was created in 2021 after Pharrell Williams' winning of the "Inaugural Anthem Award.
The Inaugural Anthem Award was given to Pharrell Williams as an exceptional leader of the new era. He was recognized for founding NPO YELLOW to fight racial discrimination and promote educational equality. He also works with Black Ambition, which provides financial support to black, Latino, and other minority entrepreneurs.
Our project was selected by IADAS out of nearly 2,500 entries from 36 countries.
IADAS, founded in 1998 in New York, is an international organization that supports the creative, technical, and professional advancement of the Internet and the evolution of new interactive media. Entries for the Anthem Awards were judged by approximately 2,000 web industry executives, professionals, creators, and media members of IADAS, and the final winners were announced from the nominated entries on February 15th, 2022.
TOKUGAWA NIGHT MUSEUM, which received the Bronze award, was held for three days in February 2021 as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Night Time Economy Promotion Project.
In order to promote the revitalization of the night economy, we created a program that fully utilizes the Tokugawa Art Museum, Nagoya's most representative unique venue.
Under the state of emergency, we took all possible measures against COVID-19, and for the first time, visitors were able to enjoy a nighttime performance in the exhibition rooms and the courtyard.
