【Charity】Be grateful by the creative!

The #makeitblue movement has begun.

The #makeitblue movement is a simple, yet powerful effort to use the color "blue" to express gratitude and support to those on the front lines of the fight against corona and to those working on the frontlines of various countermeasures.

In Japan, you may have noticed that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo TV Tower, Expo '70 Commemorative Park, Tower of the Sun, Osaka Castle Keep, Himeji Castle, and many other places have been illuminated in blue.

This movement was actually started in March by volunteers from the event and entertainment industry in the U.K., and has quickly spread around the world.

Artists and celebrities from all over the world, including Liam Gallagher of the former Oasis and Robert Fripp of King Crimson, have been sending out messages of gratitude and support in various forms.

And through the same industry connection, curioswitch was asked to participate as the Japan office.

First of all, as the Japan office, we approached local governments, associations, and companies to ask them to participate in #makeitblue.

Of course, the basic message is to stay outside as much as possible, so we are asking for as much as we can achieve with our existing resources.

In addition, while holding web conferences with members of the secretariat in the U.K. and the U.S., we have been creating the Japanese version of the official website, and we continue to consolidate information and respond to the press on a daily basis.

We hope that everyone reading this article will use the color "blue" to express their gratitude and support for those in the medical field from home, work, or through social networking services.
