【Work】World Heritage Site of Osaka -Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group- Promotion Video

Have you ever heard of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group? It was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019, and became the first World Heritage in Osaka.

For this project, we have created a promotional video for this Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, as the World Heritage Management Local Council.

As one can tell by the name, the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group consists of various kofuns with different backgrounds. Out of all, the Emperor Nintoku Tomb, being Japan's most famous and largest key-hole shaped tomb, is slightly bigger in size than the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in China. Now, are you familiar with any kofuns besides the Emperor Nintoku Tomb? In Japan, there are 49 kofuns that are registered as world heritage sites, and the number rises to 89 if non-registered kofuns are included. Kofuns are closely interconnected with our society, history, and our lives.

Our promotion video aims to attract individuals who do not have much knowledge about kofuns, and or individuals interested in Japanese culture. With that being said, our biggest mission was to create a video that will appeal to both mainlanders and foreigners.

In order to successfully design a cultivated yet stylish video, we have used drones to film a high quality image and to capture accurate footage. Furthermore, we have decided not to include subtitles, so that the viewers are able to receive information through their visual and auditory senses.

We have also provided a digest version of the video, so feel free to click on the link below for more.
